It is very hot today. In fact it is so hot that my brain stopped functioning normally.
I am in lack of AIR. But even with my brain using only 1/47 of its normal capacity,
I can still remember last winter when I walked in snow upto my p***y and the cold made me swear from time to time.

So I really should be praising this hot heat now, but my brain refuses to have anything to do with that kind of business.
But then again, my brain is following its very own trail today, down some path to… only God knows where.

I, on the other hand, am saving up energy to take my bike
and cycle down to my local discount store after another 2 liters of my favorite discount cola. One more sip of that cola and I can call myself an incarnated discount colaholic.
But who really cares? I don’t.

I read somewhere that Denmark is the country where we spend the most time discussing the weather, reflecting over the weather, and just observing it.
No wonder our Danish weather is both skizofrenic and paranoid. With all that attention who wouldn’t be?

Anyways… back to my brain. It hurts. How can a brain with that little activity hurt?
Maybe its because the 1/47 part of it that’s in use now is getting overloaded? Overheated?  Overdone!?
Let’s just hope the main battery lasts till morning.
I’m in no mood for starting up the emergency generator in this heat.

Aahhhhhhh…. THIS is what I wanna be doing right now!

I would like my friend, Lee, to write about this subject of Idealism and Realism since he is the owner of a great mind, but as it is, it looks like I have to do the job myself and let Lee correct me afterwards.

What is an idealist? And what is a realist? I don’t have the answer, you can go look it up yourself. But I will allow myself a couple of free guesses to the answer.
And the answers are many – as are my guesses.

One example of an idealist could be like this:
- MAKE LOVE NOT WAR.
And the realist would answer:
- Don’t be such a fool! You can’t make love without causing a war. Be realistic!

And from this example an idealist is a person who merely floats around on pink clouds, not giving the consequences a second thought, while the realist dissects the sentence and thinks twice.
But this is not the ideal realistic way to put it.

The idealist doesn’t actually see the world as it is, but sees it as it should be. And the realist doesn’t see the world as it should be, but as it is.
Is it that simple? No, of course it isn’t.

The idealist knows very well what the world looks like but he chooses to think of it as what it COULD be looking like. But still he is a person living in a world of dreams, thinking how nice it could be if only the dreams would come true.

And the realist lives in the real world seeing all the garbage and doesn’t give a damn about how to remove it. He just observes it and comments it.  (I am trying hard to find a more sympathetic way to explain the views of the realist)

But going further into this subject, is a little more complex than the above.
Can you actually combine idealism with realism? Yes in my world you can. How?
One way is to take all your idealistic ideas, tell the whole world about them, and use your best convincing ways to make people understand that with some effort it is possible to convince the realistic masses that dreams of a better world can be real if you set your mind to be less cynical and fight for your dreams of love instead of war.
A lot of great men worked hard for this matter and succeeded – to some extend. Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Malcolm X, just to mention a few.

But these men, of course, had to deal with realists who worked just as hard to avoid the above great men to succeed.

So… Is the idealist a good person, and the realist a bad person?
No. The answer to this is not that simple.
But – unfortunately – I don’t have that answer.

So my suggestion is that you go find out for yourself whether you are an idealist or a realist – or both. And, if you’re lucky, you might end up with an answer that suits your mind – be it an idealistic or a realistic mind. Or both.

Faith and Love are subjects that covers a billion meanings and is individual as well as a common obligation that involves all the peoples in our world of today.

For instance, faith is not necessarily connected to religion, and love is a feeling that – in my opinion – is naturally connected with faith, in every meaning and levels of faith.

Faith and Religion

Religion is a very important matter for a great deal of people around the world. And whether you share their beliefs in a God – be it the Jewish God, the Islamic Allah or the three Christian Gods, the Almighty, Jesus and the Holy Spirit – here is one of the places where love comes in, by accepting those peoples beliefs whether you agree or not.

But still, I will have to point out that I do not share the blind accept many people have in the Bible where they believe the words in the text to be the utmost truth, without approaching it with a more critical sense and, while reading the Bible, also try to read other approaches to the scriptures in the Bible written by critics of a more real truth concerning the texts in the Bible.

Believing and carrying out every word of the Bible and the Koran, will – as we can see through history – lead to many strifes and wars in the name of God and Allah. And that has nothing, absolutely nothing – to do with faith and love.

Faith and Love can not be obtained in churches singing psalms, but only through living a life in reality with our fellow people and practice faith and love in the most direct way, human to human.

Faith and Love

To me faith is not just faith in God but it is more likely a faith in the living people we all share this world with. Faith in the love, sense and sensibility I wish to find everywhere I go.

Faith in the consiousness of people to be a model to every fellow human being to live with love in their hearts and have faith in other people to do exactly the same.

This kind of faith and love is nothing fancy that is hard to obtain. In fact we are all born with pure love cemented deeply in the depths of our hearts and souls. But through indoctrination already in our early years, we are ‘forced’ to believe that the texts in the Bible and the Koran are the truth and the only real truth.

To be loyal to ourselves we are obliged to examin this ‘truth’ with some sensible critical approach. We must never let ourselves believe anything being told to us as being the utmost and only truth without looking further into the subjects with a critical sense.

Love is the thing that makes our world function. Without love, faith could not exist. And the kind of faith I am talking about here is the faith in people to learn from history. Learn from the wars we have had in this world and the wars still being faught.

Wars are the most stupid, insensible and inhuman thing people have ever accomplished. Faith, Love and compassion can not be found anywhere in war.

As for the future

My deepest  and most sincere hope for the future is that all people around the world start to think more critical about our churches, governments and politicians – who don’t seem to get any wiser by learning from history – and that we all by the force of Faith in each other and Love to each other and to our world, really try to make a difference. I am sure we can, but it requires a sincere effort from all of us to do it.

And not just by going to church every once a week and then go home thinking ‘I went to church so now I am a good person’.

What really makes a difference is showing our faith and love to people and the world in our everyday deeds and actions.

These two sweet girls are waiting by the queen’s car to give her their flowers. The beauty on the right with the dark brown hair is my daughter, Ida.
And as you can see on the photo of the queen, the girls succeeded in giving her their flowers.

And of course it had my attention since I would love to sit at home, writing a few hours a day, lean back and watch myself becoming a millionaire.

But is it that easy? No of course it isn’t. To make money, you have to have something to sell, right? So I looked further into this Atomic Blogging thing. And what did I learn? It’s not enough to have a link to ClickBank. You also have to collect a huge database with e-mails, names, addresses and so forth.

All the above means that you will be looking forward to a life behind the screen of your laptop. Well, maybe you can deal with 3-4 hours a day, but I think this whole subject is kinda triggering.
When – or if – you make your first 100 US dollars, the trap here is aka golddigging. With 100 dollars in your pocket, you want more… And more money means more time behind the screen…

Making money online is an endless circle of trying to get more profit than the month before.
Is it worth it?

I very seldom get angry, real mad. But when I’ve had it, I’ve had it. And two days ago I finally had it.

When a girl friend – and believe me, with absolutely no reason – decides that she wants some of my things like my mobile phone, my laptop aso – and she texts me with a message saying: I’ll be at your place in 10 minutes and if you don’t open that door of yours, I swear I’m gonna kick it in and take your stuff.

Now, I have many kinds of friends. Student friends, working friends, and even friends who think it’s cool living like junkies, sleeping on a bench aso. That’s part of my pleasing manners. I can’t say No to anybody.

Anyways. I got that text message from her last Sunday, and she was at my door 10 minutes later… on the second. Being the great pleaser I am, I could have opened my door and said:

• Welcome! Come inside and steal my mobile and my laptop – do as you please

But I kind of like my mobile and my laptop – even they are just material stuff – and I sure love the whole mankind and all human beings more than my stuff. But there was no way I was going to open my door for a raving mad girl friend who wanted to steal my stuff.

So I opened my window, which is right next to the door, but I’m not afraid – I’m a pleaser. I did the most logical thing – to me at that moment – I asked her what I had done to make her mad as a mad bull at me. But all she could say, and kept on saying was

• If you don’t open that door I’m kicking it in – you know I do karate

And I know she knows how to do karate. But I also know my girl friend, and when she couldn’t give me an answer to why she was mad at me – I knew she would go right inside and steal my stuff if I opened the door. I also knew she would kick in my door if I didn’t open it – but I smiled my cutest smile at her and said

• No way I’m opening that door

And then I closed the window and went upstairs to watch her from the windows up there.

And then she started kicking. And it wasn’t these small girlish kicks that I master. It was real big strong KARATE kicks on my door. If it wasn’t because I was real worried that she might break my door – it would have been hillarious, like the glimses of black humour you have when things get serious.

I phoned a friend of mine who looks like a tattooed bull but hes sweet as an angel. And he called her while she was outside my door kicking it in, and she answered it all right *Why would she want to steal my mobile when she got one of her own?* But that call didn’t stop her. After half an hour of kicking – my door is stronger than I thought – she finally gave up and left.

And that’s when I had it. The next day, Monday, I went down to the police station and reported it. I wasn’t going to sue her or anything that serious – just report it, as a small note in the police’s computer system. And the nice police man, who was a good looking guy around 30 – Ah no… that’s out of subject. But he promised me to pay my girl friend a visit and tell her in serious ways that you don’t walk around kicking in other peoples doors to steal their stuff with no reason.

And that’s in fact the end of this story.

I wouldn’t mind if I don’t see that girl friend for a pretty long while now. And I’m sure she has no wish to see me either.

But my aim is still to please – I’m a lover, not a hater.
